Lizzie Mary Cullen. Artist / Illustrator.

Lizzie Mary Cullen is a multi award winning and rapidly emerging artist and illustrator.  Also being a good friend I was interested to talk to her about the creative processes she goes through in order to produce her amazing work.    I hope this short film captures some of the essence of her creativity and at least scratches the surface of some of her processes.

When Chocolate Meets Art!

An editorial feature for Absolutely Magazines featuring some amazing easter eggs created by esteemed baker and chocolatier Rocco Tanzarella of Wimbledon’s La Bottega Del Pane.
Renowned for his amazing bread that he supplies to some of London’s top restaurants from the River Cafe to Novikov to Theo Randall at the Intercontinental.
Rocco is also in the process of becoming a Master Chocolatier.

His eggs are all hand made, artisanal and individually crafted and designed.   My main challenge was to photograph these amazing eggs at the back of his cafe,  whilst not melting them with the hot tungsten lighting I had taken along!!

Cooper & Wolf. London. E5.

Cooper and Wolf is my local Scandinavian restaurant and cafe situated right in the middle of Clapton East London.  At the top of Chatsworth Road and opposite Millfields Park it offers a wide range of authentic Scandinavian dishes and caravan coffee.
I shot this film over space of one day and it features many of the locals who regularly eat there for the welcoming, family friendly atmosphere.

A set of images of the main partners at the investment company Infusive. Commissioned by Base Creative,  the brief was simple,  after shooting their staff to show their personalities,  they wanted to extend this style of photography onto one of their own clients.  Produce high key images showing the personalities of each partner.

Jo Nagasaka, 'Iro'

As part of the London Design Festival my friends at Established and Sons asked me to photograph their collaboration with architect Jo Nagasaka - Vivid Interval.  Jo is launching a stunning new collection of furniture 'Iro', investigating the relationship between translucency,  natural wood grain and colour blocking. Alongside this you can currently view another installation in which a series fluorescent lights are controlled by analogue toggle switches.

Moot Chair by Ross Lovegrove for Established and Sons.

A set of images of the Moot Chair by designer Ross Lovegrove for a brochure for Established and Sons.  The challenge here was to light the chair beautifully avoiding the reflections that it picked up from anything within a 200° range.
